PRIMARY VOLUNTEER NEEDS
Volunteers Needed
You can work with our clients, educating them, mentoring them, making a positive & powerful impact in their lives! This involves completing our application, allowing us to do a background check, having training, & volunteering in one of our center positions during one of our shifts.
In the center – females, males, & bilinguals are needed to serve our clients:
- Mentors ~ Males & females 21+ for new parents, who will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting them not only in their parenting journey but also in their spiritual growth.- about 25 hours
- Boutique Assistants ~ Females 17+ assist clients in the Boutique to get free maternity & baby clothing & items, receive donations; keep records, & stock shelves; training- about 10 hours
- Mentors to lead group Bible Studies- men and women 21+ needed to lead ongoing group bible studies in all locations

Other Volunteering
If you can’t volunteer in the center, there are other ways to help!
Here are a few:
- Handymen & women ~ perform minor repairs, projects, landscaping
- Cleaners ~ Clean/help clean the center, as able
- Mission Project Groups ~ Youth & adults willing to clean & do office projects.
- Ambassador (liaison) for your church or group.
- Abortion Recovery Outreach/Facilitator– Post-abortive or not, males/females. Reaches out to the community and/or facilitates healing 11-week Bible study for post-abortive once or more per year. About 15 hours of training is required.
- Abstinence Leader/Educators – Lead program and/or present abstinence to youth/groups in the community.
- Join our Prayer Shield (prayer team)
- Do office work (DeLand Corporate Office)
- Donate your technical/professional services

Stories for Life
When Sarah became pregnant, her mother said she wasn’t mature enough to parent a child. She told Sarah to have an abortion – and even scheduled an abortion appointment. That’s when a relative intervened and brought Sarah to Coastal Choices Women’s Clinic. A client advocate shared the truth about Christ and the unborn with Sarah. Then she saw her unborn baby – and heard her baby’s heartbeat – through an ultrasound. Sarah decided she wanted to become a mother. She chose life. And she never made it to her abortion appointment. Today Sarah is mom to a precious baby boy. She’s still receiving support and encouragement from her relative and her friends at Coastal Choices.
